Installed these on a Herman Miller Aeron chair - perfect fit and brought the chair up high enough to easily clear the carpet and chair mat. Highly recommend to anyone with an Aeron. I have the large/Size C Aeron and I weigh nearly 280 pounds and have no issues.

Make sure the chair base is sitting directly on top of the caster swivel. The stem for the Aeron chair is typically shorter (7/16x7/8" grip ring stem part# TWUN75NG20BK) than the caster you purchased.

My downstairs neighbors thank you. The casters are perfect for lifting the Aeron chair off the carpet. The center post drags (bad design) and when you sit the weight would go strait to the center post, banging the floor. The new casters work great, centering the load and allowing for smooth rolling. Well worth the investment.

I was a bit concerned that this would not work as I have the Aeron Size C (large) and I weigh ~260lbs. I've used a chair mat for years and the Aeron would just eat a whole in the area directly under the center post and clip. At $90 a mat, that gets expensive... considering these casters were less than $20 with shipping. They work prefect! No more dragging and very smooth rolling. Thanks Great Lakes Caster!

My Aeron was scraping my chair mat, so I bought these larger wheels. They arrived quickly, and it took about a minute to swap them out. Perfect fit, and now I can glide more smoothly without scraping!

I love my Aeron chair in my home office but the center post of the chair was dragging the carpet, and was starting to do some visual damage. These casters raise the center post about 1/2 inch, putting it well clear of the carpet. I guess home carpets are plusher than office building carpets. Replacement was easy - pull out the old casters and push in the new casters. Great Lakes has a similar caster with a shorter stem that looks to be the same length as the OEM caster stem, but these worked just fine.

I had a friend to give me a new Aeron Chair that I am using in my home office. The chair had its standard wheels on it. When I got the chair home, I realized that the center post was dragging my carpet and even scraping on my desk mat.

I decided to give these casters a try, because I had read other reviews about them. I have to say what an awesome find. The extra 1/2" lift of the chair is perfect. Can't believe how much more stable and smooth my chair is now moving around and the price is outstanding.

If anyone has a problem with center post drags on their Aeron chair these casters are perfect. Great Lakes Caster was also very easy to work with and buy from.

The infamous bottom clip on the Herman Miller Aeron chair seat posts was starting to drag on my aging chairmat carpet protector. Instead of pay $70 for a new mat, or more for Herman Miller replacements, I purchased 5 of these casters. These are EXACT fits, and the perfect upgrade to an already awesome, if just somewhat quirky office chair.

I bought these because the center post of my office had begun dragging on the carpet. The chair I had previously suffered the same fate and was replaced, but this time I found a website detailing this company and specifically these casters. Swapping them out took 2 minutes and my chair is like new. Quick, easy and cheap fix!

The middle section piece of my Herman Miller Aeron chair was really close to hitting the ground when I sat in it, getting the larger casters made a huge difference, not only giving me more clearance underneath, but also allowing the chair to be adjusted to a higher full height! I'm pretty tall, so even a half inch makes a difference. These casters were easy to replace and are sturdy and solid. Very happy with this purchase!!

Bought these casters to raise my Aeron office chair. The center post was dragging on our new carpet. The size of these casters makes the rolling easier, also. No need for one of those ugly plastic chair pads now.

great product!! The chair is more stable and glides easily on the carpet. It no longer drags on the bottom and is elevated a couple inches. I would highly recommend these casters for an Aeron chair!

I got these to replace the stock casters on my Herman Miller office chair. The stock casters caused the middle pole to tear up carpet. These new casters fit perfectly, roll easily, and lifted the chair high enough not to damage the flooring.

I'm very happy with the product. The old casters came right off (watch out for grease!) and the new ones went right in. They wheels are much larger than the old ones.

The only negative aspect was that the casters were just thrown in a box with some newspaper on top and nothing underneath for cushioning.

I bought these for my new Aeron chair. The stock casters were too small and caused the center stem of the chair to bottom out on the carpet. I could have replaced them with 3 inch casters from the manufacturer but that would have cost $100 for a set of 5. These 75mm casters from Great Lakes worked great. They lifted the chair enough off the carpet so that the chair can freely move. These are hard plastic casters so they should not be used on hardwood or stone floors because they will scratch the surface. So far, so good.
