Casters were an exact match of the originals they replaced and they were of higher quality. Time will tell how long they hold up. They are plastic after all.

The product was what I needed, but the stem is actually 5/8" long rather than a 1/2", but it still works on my coffee table. I called a few days after placing the order to find out if it had shipped, and was told the lady who handled the ship-by-mail orders had taken a couple days off for her birthday, but the order was on her desk, and would be shipped out on Thursday 8-19. I got the invitation for this review before the product was delivered. The actual ship date was a couple of days ago. I received an email from USPS on Sunday 8-22 that they had received an electronic notification for pick up. I just received the item today, 8-25.

I searched and searched for small carpet casters with a 1/4 x 20 threaded stem and had all but given up hope of finding them. But luckily I finally came across Great Lakes Caster, and there they were! The selection of casters is great, the cost is very reasonable, and the shipping was extremely prompt. And the product is perfect! Great service all the way around.

I just purchased 40mm Twin Wheels Hooded Caster with 1/4-20 x 1/2" Threaded Stem. The product arrived in time as ordered. Have installed them and they are working great.

Thanks for the follow-up. The casters fit perfectly and are exactly what I wanted. Your company was the third try for me. It took me a while to figure out the size I needed and the proper way to enter it in the search box. I really lucked out that you had the smaller 40mm size, too. They look much better on the small table I put them on than the larger 50mm would have.
