the replacements were fine only difference is the hood is plastic so the antique finish isn't the same as the originals. They also seem to be a bit nosier but I assume that's because they're lighter due to being plastic.

The insert is made of metal for stability in wood. They are compatible with the 5/16x1-1/2" grip neck caster stem
