Forged steel caster wheels are ideal for heavy duty to severe service environments. However, these wheels will cause rapid floor deterioration when rolled across any untreated floor. Boasting high tensile strength, forged steel caster wheels offer impact and shock absorption with extremely high dynamic capacities and are virtually failure free. Cast iron wheels, also known as semi-steel, share many characteristics with forged steel but are a more cost-effective product.
