Ductile steel caster wheels are ideal for severe service environments, similar drop forged steel wheels. These wheels cause floor deterioration extremely quickly too, and so either the V-groove or flanged feature are recommended in combination with this material. Ductile steel caster wheels have extremely high weight capacities and are commonly seen in food service, autoclave and drive wheel applications.
