Optimum leveling ease occurs at 50% of 4 casters total capacity.; Patent protected anti-vibration axles, ratcheting mechanisms and hardened steel raceway sleeve.; Cast aluminum body with a powder coat finish in ivory or black.; Three possible ways to adjust leveling foot/ pad, thumbscrew or open-ended wrench (GD models), built in ratcheting system (GDR models).; Standard NBR rubber pad with nylon 6 wheel, optional urethane pad and urethane on aluminum wheel.

Purchased the GD-60S for my Rikon 70-220vsr MIdi Lathe. These leveling casters are "rock-solid" and worth the investment. If you have a piece of equipment that requires ease of mobility and secure leveling, look no further. EXCELLENT customer service - US based company. In fact, every encounter I experienced with Account Manager, Sam Bepler left me with the impression that he is fully committed to serve the needs of his customers. In today’s on-line business world, this kind of commitment to customer service should be a standard, but often, it is not. Did I mention USA BASED COMPANY!!!

The casters are well-made, but for me the stems were too short and GLC offered no help with the problem.

Attached to Hammer Joiner/Planer. I used to have 4 - 3" heavy duty double locking polyurethane casters ($64 a set) under this machine. It was difficult to move even though they were rated at 300lbs each. I tilted my machine with a jack, put support safety blocks underneath then drilled 1/2" holes for the M16 stems and installed the GD-60S. My wife was so amazed at how easy it is to move the machine. In her words it glides over the concrete floor. An awesome investment! Out of the box the leveling pads feel loose but don't worry, when installed and locked down the machine is pretty rock steady. Big access holes fit your finger and allow easy turning of wheel. P.S. I also own the smaller Greatlakes version of these for my MM16 bandsaw. Those are fine, but yes eventually I am going to upgrade to these.
