A Michigan-based maker of high-quality, heavy-duty casters. Our customers have had great success with these 110 Contender™ Kingpinless Casters.
With a capacity of up to 2000 lbs, and 1,250 lb dynamic capacity, these rugged steel casters withstand shock, impact, and extraordinary use. Kingpinless construction resists shear force in towline applications.
A great all- around medium-duty 2" caster, the 110 Contender is useful for dollies, bakery carts, utility carts, and metal carriers. It is available in most any combination of brake, wheel material, and swivel or rigid construction.

In today’s world of planned obsolescence, Shepherd goes against the grain. CasterDepot constantly fills orders to replace Shepherd ball casters that need replacement after 50 years. Needless to say, Shepherd makes excellent casters that stand the test of time. Shepherd Ball Casters and Baron Series are commonly used for DIY and vintage restoration applications.
Shepherd Ball Series
Shepherd Ball Series casters have a 100 lb max capacity and are available in a threaded stem, grip stem, and top plate configurations. All are available in bright and matte chrome and brass, with brake options for many configurations.
For mostly static applications where the casters are only occasionally used for mobility, Shepherd’s Metal Ball Caster does the trick.

Shepherd Baron Series
The Baron caster has a quintessential “antique caster” look to it. A great lightweight replacement caster for chairs, racks, and small furniture. The Shepherd Baron Series casters have an 80 lb dynamic max capacity. The Baron caster is available in bright chrome, antique brass, and metalized brass. They mount with a threaded stem, grip stem, grip ring stem, or top plate. Brake options are available for many configurations.
